This is the kind of juxtaposition I imagined when I started this project. A giant, big and tall building, covering a significant part of the background, with a traditional houses as foreground depicting everyday life of its citizen.
I'm really excited to find this spot. The same thing happened again. At the moment I was busy composing, I can hear a foot step from behind. I've already accustomed with that sound. The only people walk with that kind of sound is almost certain is a child. I keep my eye on the viewfinder, waiting for the exact moment when subject entering the frame. I don't even know what the subject looks like. It comes from behind my back. I concentrate on the frame and the footstep sound .. and BANG. I think I'm a bit too fast :(
A little disappointed, but there's no second chance. Never mind. At least I got all the elements fit nicely in the frame.
Later at home I found an interesting point on that child's shirt. There's a written message "Lagu kita masih sama, Indonesia Raya". Literally it translates to "Our song is still the same, Indonesia Raya" **
